The album „marode“ is an attempt to phoneticise the slow decay of an old building. The interpretation seems to be messy and agitated. It draws a picture of a formerly glamorous man-made domicile which is now leading a deserted existence. Nature eats away the frontage, and the seasons creep into every fibre of the construction.
The dark drone represents the crumbling of the walls, abstract sounds appear to be a porous timber work, and scattered sown moody scraps of piano melodies interweave with obscure and fragmentary arrangements of cello that concur in a threatening, in parts monotonous, and audible process of destruction.
